Last Friday V and I celebrated one of his best friend’s birthday. She and her husband had a party on their porch with wine, chili and most importantly, delicious homemade ice cream, so I made her a quick homemade caramel sauce as a little gift. I used this recipe and it worked fabulously (a first attempt with brown sugar wasn’t quite as successful).
